Water Cooling

The project probably sounds quite easy so far, but I had to be double sure of all the measurements while cutting down the original drive cage and folding the new radiator box, as they only need to be a fraction out to throw the entire chassis out of alignment.

Luckily, my measuring skills didn't let me down and everything lined up perfectly. Once that was taken care of, I stripped down the pieces and powder coated them in Carbon Black, inside and out.

Now the real fun began. Installing three water-cooling loops was always going to be a challenge in such a tight space, but I wanted to keep the hose routeing as clean as possible.

I also wanted to make a feature of the point where the hose left the bottom chassis to attach to the top. This was achieved on the rear of the case using 1/2in Carbon Black Bitspower fitting (thanks to Vincent) and four short runs of 7/16in hose, and the end result looked neat, especially once the red liquid was added.
